Apple March Event 2016 Rumor Mill!

Alright, we'll make this short and sweet: Apple's going to have an event on March 21 and I'm for certain many people are going to be watching for what the Cupertino company has in store for us mortals.

Here's the rundown of the probable products to be introduced in the said event:

• iPhone 5SE (or simply iPhone SE)
• iPad Air 3
• Apple Watch 2
• MacBook Air refresh

Since Apple skipped their usual October event wherein they launch new iPad models, it is expected that in the upcoming event they we will be able to see a refresh of new iPads. As for the iPhone, the "budget" SE model is rumored to have a 12 MP camera, a 4-inch screen, and mostly the innards of an iPhone 6 although it is sure that it won't have a 3D Touch capability. This new iPhone is seen to try to help the already stagnant iPhone sales. iPhone 5s is also projected to have its price slashed by half.

For sure, Mostly Geeks will be following the news like Solid Snake stalking his enemies.

The Lego movie has already warned us of a Trump-like president!

While reading the news about Donald Trump's chances of being America's leader, I googled "Donald Trump Lego" and it turns out that Lego Movie was Nostradamus-like in its proclamation that soon the country will have a Trump-like Commander-in-Chief!

Geek Finds - Bangle.Co

Towards our march to a cashless society, startup company Bangle.co has been showing what looks like a bangle for payments. Came across it on their Instagram account and I thought the device has a very friendly design reminiscent of an Apple or maybe an Ikea stuff.

I do not have the details about the technology involved in this payment device but here's the images:

One thing remains to be seen is how Bangle.co will compete against Apple Pay and Google's Android Pay which are already integrated in devices and therefore eliminates the need to have another medium.

 



 

Downy Conditioner = Ironing Man?

Howdee fellow geeks! I recently got a kick out of these Robert Downey Jr.'s "Downy Conditioner" pictures all over the internet and I'd like to share them with you today in case you haven't seen them yet!

Yes, I myself use Downy fabric conditioner for my clothes of course to have my clothes and myself smell good (at times too good). Iron Man is also one of my most favorite characters in the Marvel Universe. I can't wait for the upcoming Civil War movie showing at the middle of this year.
